Junie has frequently been asked by parents of students with various learning disabilities to help their students with their struggles; the outcomes have been almost unanimously successful in the estimation of both the students and their parents. In cases where she feels unable to tackle the particular problem, she can often recommend resources or programs for parents to pursue.

Currently, tutoring at UWL is divided almost evenly between daytime homeschooled students and afterschool students, aged 7 to 18. (And there is often an adult student in the mix who has to pass a math test as the last hurdle to getting a degree or certification.)
